The Beautiful Journey Comes to an end
The beautiful journey of Amal Career Prep Fellowship is about to end, this three-month journey is going to stay with me forever. The best part of this fellowship is the weekly evening sessions, two online courses per week, and project works. Words can’t do justice to the experience that I had.
Amal academy provided me with multiple opportunities to learn new things. It offered me space and time to come out of my comfort zone to have a healthy conversation with fellow fellows’ and my respected facilitators. I can never forget my courteous and kind facilitators. Sir Hammad and Ma’am Hajira are now my mentors from whom I learned empathy, courtesy, positive behavior, and the importance of teamwork.
From sessions where we are provided with opportunities to interact and learn from fellow fellows’ to collecting donations for Eidi Foundation, Amal Academy proved to be a great platform. It also empowered me with business writing skills like communication skills, interview skills, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, etc.
I learned the concept of “leading without authority” and its importance. I and 7 members completed our mega project by collecting donations and installing an electric motor in the Kotani area.
The interview experience was the most impactful experience I ever had. through this experience, my communication skills have been improved as well as it boosted my confidence. It made me realize the importance of constructive feedback. In addition to that, the One-on-one session with Sir Hammad was the best session I ever had. I was able to discuss my plans and he was kind enough to show me opportunities. I tried to learn joyous and calm behavior from him.
I realized that “Coming out of my comfort zone” is the first step toward success. If we want to accomplish something big then we have to look at the whole picture. Self-realization is another essential step to improving ourselves. Looking at things from a growth mindset and positivity impacts a lot. In the end, I want to thank Amal Academy for providing me with this lifelong journey.
