Kindness is an act of being generous, helpful, and caring about other human beings as well as animals. Even in our religion kindness is considered one of the most idolized qualities of a good character. I am in love with one of the quotes about kindness:

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted”

Here are five acts of kindness that I have completed in 24 hours.

  1. Prepared a meal for my family :

Today, My mother had to visit a doctor so I made dinner. First I cut vegetables and then made pasta. She was delighted to see me doing home chores, which made me happy.

2) Helped my fellow:

Today was my last exam and I had to go to university in heavy rain. I took an umbrella with me. One of my university fellows needed an umbrella so I gave her and she did her work.

3) Lent a friend my favorite book:

one of my favorite books is Nouman Ali Khan’s “Revive your heart: Putting life in perspective”. My friend was thinking of buying this book so I just lent her mine. She was thrilled with joy.

4) Feed the birds:

Islam teaches us to be kind and take care of animals as well. So I decided to put a water bowl for birds outside my home so they can drink water and keep themselves hydrated.

5) Gave compliments to my Amal fellow:

Today I gave a compliment to one of my Amal fellows that makes her happy and she thanked me for that.
